Special Olympics

Special Olympics is for people (adults and children) with intellectual disabilities.

On Monday at school, the seniors spent half the day outside playing Special Olympics games.

There were a total of nine games. There were two games that I really liked.

The first game I really liked, we had to stack tin cans. Three on the bottom, then two on top of the three cans and then one on top of the two cans.

The other game I really liked, we had to throw bean bags into a bucket. I got half the bean bags in the bucket.

It was a really fun day and I had so much fun!

  1. Ka Rawe Tyler, it is great to see you blogging from home. Our syndicate Special Olympics was so much fun wasn't it? Maybe you could some information about the teams everyone was in - what country was your team? What fun facts did you find out about the country you were representing? Nga mihi Mrs Jones.

  2. Way to go Tyler, it's super to see you completing your distance learning. I wonder if the game you described would be a good one to play with your family during lockdown? I might have a go myself! Perhaps you could add some photographs from the gallery to show the different games being played. I'll look forward to seeing your posts throughout lockdown - in the meantime, remember to help everyone in your bubble, be kind to each other and have fun with your learning! :-)
